About

Hi, I’m Brandon.

I’m a senior full-stack developer with more than ten years of experience building for the web. I started Aggressive Cache to do the work I’m best at: building fast, well-made websites and applications, and helping businesses make good technical decisions without the overhead of an agency.

I’ve worked with businesses and non-profits in e-commerce, food and beverage, real estate, finance, and healthcare, on everything from marketing sites and online stores to internal tools and headless CMS builds. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Science and Technology and I’m a Certified Uniform Developer.

Aggressive Cache is just me, on purpose. The person who scopes your project is the person who writes the code and answers your emails.

Why “Aggressive Cache”?

On the web, this header tells every browser and CDN to keep a file for a year and never ask for it again:

Cache-Control: public, max-age=31536000, immutable

It’s the most aggressive caching rule there is, and a good summary of the approach: do the work once, do it right, and don’t make anyone wait for it twice.

How I work

Plain answers
You’ll hear what I’d do and why, including when the answer is “you don’t need this.”
Small, visible progress
Work ships in small pieces you can see and review, not in one big reveal at the end.
You own it
Code, accounts, and documentation belong to you. No lock-in.
Fast and accessible by default
Performance and accessibility (WCAG 2.1) are part of every build, not an upsell.
